Accessibility Statement

These pages are built to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, or at whatever text size and contrast you need. Where they fall short, we would like to know.

Standard applied

This website targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The Israeli standard IS 5568 is based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA, which WCAG 2.1 includes.

What has been done

• Contrast is measured, not assumed. Every text and background pair was checked; all meet or exceed 4.5:1. The link colour was changed because it originally measured 3.53:1 and failed.
• Full keyboard operation. Everything reachable by mouse is reachable by keyboard, in a sensible order, with a visible focus outline at every step.
• A skip link on each page, to jump the header.
• Semantic structure — real headings in order, landmark regions, a labelled navigation, and the current page marked for screen readers.
• Colour is never the only signal. Links are underlined on hover and focus; selected options in the accessibility panel carry a tick as well as a colour.
• An accessibility panel in the corner: text size up to 140%, light, dark or system colours, a high-contrast mode, and permanent link underlines. Your choices are remembered on your own device.
• The page works zoomed. Text is set in relative units and reflows to 400% zoom without a horizontal scrollbar.

Known limitations

Stated plainly, because a statement that claims perfection is not useful:

• The licence text is a legal document reproduced word for word. It cannot be reworded or restructured for readability without ceasing to be the licence, so it remains a long, dense block. It is keyboard-scrollable and labelled.
• The accessibility panel needs JavaScript. Without it the pages still meet the standard on their own — the panel adds preferences, it does not supply conformance.
• This site has not been audited by a certified accessibility professional. It was built and tested against the standard by its developer. We would rather say so than imply an approval that does not exist.
• This statement covers this website. The Floe mobile game is a separate product and has not been through an accessibility review.
